La giornata ha dato il via ad un ciclo di iniziative di approfondimento e seminari su temi di attualità, che copriranno l’intero arco di un anno fino al giugno del 2011.

La riunione si è tenuta come da programma dalle 10 alle 13 nella sala dei Teatini (via Scalabrini 9 - ex-chiesa San Vincenzo). C'è stato l'intervento del Sindaco Reggi che ha poi dovuto lasciare la sala per impegni istituzionali così alla tavola rotonda è intervenuta la Giovanna Palladini, assessore ai servizi sociali. Sono intervenuti il presidente della Provincia Trespidi, il vescovo mons. Ambrosio, il prof. Limonta per l'Ausl, la direttrice dello Svep Raffaella Fontanesi.
LA PARTECIPAZIONE delle associazioni è stata buona ed è da considerarsi essenziale per sottolineare, almeno con la presenza, che il ruolo dell'associazionismo oggi assume un peso crescente nello sviluppo del welfare ed è pertanto urgente la presa di coscienza di un rinnovato e più forte rapporto con le istituzioni.,

Supplenza e dipendenza: il complesso rapporto Pubblico-Privato. Questo il titolo del resoconto della tavola rotonda di stamattina che nella Sala dei Teatini di Piacenza, ha posto al centro del confronto (tra sindaco, assessore ai servizi sociali del Comune di Piacenza, Presidente della Provincia, Vescovo, Ausl, Svep) il Terzo Settore.
